Mahanadi Coalfields seeks bids for Kulda Garjanbhal OCP CHP

Mahanadi Coalfields has announced that bids are being invited for the erection of a coal handling plant (CHP) with belt conveyors (40 Mty) and dispatch at the integrated Kulda Garjanbhal OCP Basundhara Area, located in Barpali, Odisha (Phase-I).

According to the given information, the scope of work entails the design, supply, erection, and commissioning of the CHP with belt conveyors (40 Mty) and dispatch through three SILO with a rapid loading system. Additionally, an alternate pre-weigh truck loading system with a capacity of 04 Mty is also included.

The contract's value amounts to Rs 10.32 billion.

The period of completion for the project encompasses 30 months, including the trial run, PGT, and commissioning phases. This will be followed by five years of operation and maintenance (O&M) during the defects liability period (DLP).

It was stated that the last date for bid submission is August 28, 2023.
