KEC International has secured new orders of Rs 1,313 crore across its various businesses. The transmission and distribution (T&D) business has secured orders for T&D projects in India, Middle East and America.

T&D business has received 400 kV transmission line order in India, from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL). The second order is for supply of towers in Middle East, secured by our subsidiary in UAE. The third order is to supply of towers, hardware and poles in Americas, secured by our subsidiary, SAE Towers.

The Railways business has secured a composite order for construction of a third railway line and associated works in the conventional segment in India. The civil business has secured an order for executing infra works in the metals and mining segment in India. The oil and gas pipelines business has secured an order for composite works for an oil terminal station in India. The cables business has secured orders for various types of cables in India and overseas.

Vimal Kejriwal, MD and CEO, KEC International, commented, “We are pleased with the new order wins secured across our business verticals. The orders in T&D have enhanced our order book; especially the second order from PGCIL in quick succession has strengthened our domestic T&D business. We are particularly enthused by the order in Railways, which consolidates our leadership in the conventional railway segment. The industrial order in civil along with the orders announced earlier during the year, reflect an uptick in the private capex specifically in the metals and mining sector. The prestigious order in the oil and gas pipeline business reaffirms our confidence that this business will become a significant part of KEC's overall business portfolio in the coming years.”
