Juniper and SJVN partner to supply 320 MW of renewable energy.

A 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) has been secured at a tariff of Rs 4.38 per unit by Juniper Green Energy with state-owned SJVN Ltd. The aim is to supply round-the-clock 320 MW of green energy by developing 1 GW of capacity across Gujarat and Rajasthan. The initiative aims to provide and increase energy for nearly 4.34 lakh households, offset approximately 2,041,811 metric tonnes of CO2 annually, and anticipate an annual generation of 2,179 million units. Naresh Mansukhani, CEO of Juniper Green Energy, stated that the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SJVN showcased their ability to undertake and successfully execute significant hybrid projects. Mansukhani highlighted that these projects combined solar, wind, and battery storage, aligning with the national agenda for a sustainable future. Juniper is an independent renewable energy power producer, part of the AT Group, which has an asset portfolio of $2.5 billion with global investments in renewable energy, residential and commercial real estate, hospitality, etc., based out of Delhi, NCR, and commenced operations in October 2018.
