HPL partners with WBSEDCL for advanced metering project

HPL Electric & Power has entered into a partnership with West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company (WBSEDCL) to implement an advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) initiative. The project, valued at Rs 416.84 crore, will be backed by funding from the World Bank.

The AMI project is set to deploy smart meters across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
