Holcim Deutschland GmbH wins gold status for entrepreneurship

Holcim Deutschland GmbH was awarded gold status by the independent CSR rating platform EcoVadis in December 2021 for sustainable entrepreneurship, placing it among the top 5% of all participating companies in the cement, lime, and gypsum sector. Holcim achieved gold status in its third rating, following 2016 and 2019. This is given to businesses that have received an average score of 63 to 77 out of a possible 100.

EcoVadis evaluates a company's long-term viability in four areas: the environment, labour practices, fair business practices, and sustainable procurement. In all four areas, Holcim Germany outperformed the industry average. Holcim did particularly well in the environmental category, receiving 90 out of 100 points.
