Goldi Solar Introduces TOPCon Solar Panels

Goldi Solar, a leading Indian solar module manufacturer, unveiled its latest technological innovation, the G12 TOPCon solar panel, as part of the HELOC? (High-Efficiency Low on Carbon) Plus series. This milestone was celebrated at the recent Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo in Greater Noida.

The G12 TOPCon solar panel incorporates Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact (TOPCon) technology, marking a significant breakthrough in the field of solar energy. TOPCon technology combines tunnel oxide passivation with PERC (Passivated Emitter Rear Cell) solar cells, effectively reducing recombination losses and thereby increasing the overall efficiency of the solar panel. With its remarkable efficiency rates that surpass those of traditional solar panels, TOPCon offers an economically viable solution for harnessing more energy from the sun. Its seamless integration into manufacturing processes and efficiency gains make it a promising choice for the future of renewable energy.

Goldi Solar's latest addition to the HELOC? Plus series features a 132-cell Module and N-Type TOPCon Technology, delivering an impressive output of up to 705 Wp (watt-peak). These panels redefine solar efficiency with a module conversion efficiency of up to 22.70%. They not only offer cost-effectiveness but also contribute to reducing Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) and Balance of System (BOS) costs, ensuring a faster payback period. Additionally, the panels exhibit exceptional performance in various conditions, even excelling in challenging scenarios like cloudy or foggy days. Their versatility makes them suitable for an array of applications, including Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV), vertical installations, and demanding environments such as snowfields and high-humidity areas.

Capt. Ishver Dholakiya, Managing Director and Founder of Goldi Solar, emphasized the company's commitment to narrowing the technological gap between Indian and Western markets. Goldi Solar aims to empower local customers with access to cutting-edge products, contributing to India's growing reliance on renewable energy sources.

The launch of the G12 TOPCon solar panel underscores Goldi Solar's dedication to advancing solar technology and promoting sustainability in the Indian energy landscape. This innovative solution is set to play a vital role in meeting India's increasing energy demands while ensuring a cleaner and greener future.
