REC signs agreement to run RDSS Scheme

In a significant move to improve power supply, REC and the state government have entered into a contract for the implementation of the Rural Electricity Distribution System Strengthening (RDSS) scheme. The agreement was signed in the presence of senior officials from both entities. The scheme involves upgrading power lines, installing new transformers, and meters to enhance the distribution infrastructure and ensure uninterrupted power supply.
