A luxury bungalow in Sunder Nagar, one of central Delhi's most coveted residential areas, has been sold for approximately Rs.960 million in a significant real estate transaction. The property, owned by Sunil and Ravi Sachdev, spans around 900 square yards. Real estate consultant CBRE facilitated the deal, though both the sellers and CBRE declined to comment.
Sunder Nagar is known for attracting high-profile residents, including top lawyers, judges, bureaucrats, and businessmen, making it one of Delhiās most desirable addresses.
The sale highlights the growing demand for luxury properties in Delhi and across India. According to a recent CBRE report, sales of luxury homes priced Rs.400 million and above surged by 38% between January and September 2024 across seven major cities. Delhi-NCR led the way, recording 5,855 luxury home sales in this period, up from 3,410 units a year earlier.
This sale is a continuation of the rising trend in high-end real estate transactions in South and Central Delhi, which have seen several large deals in recent years.
