Premier Energies Signs Solar Module Deal

Premier Energies, a leading manufacturer of solar cells and modules, announced a significant milestone with the signing of a 350-MW module supply agreement alongside its subsidiaries ? Premier Energies International and Premier Energies Photovoltaic ? with Apraava Energy. This collaboration, aimed at advancing renewable energy projects in India, underscores a pivotal step towards achieving the country's ambitious clean energy targets.

According to an official press release, Premier Energies International will supply solar modules for Apraava Energy's upcoming solar project in Rajasthan. Chiranjeev Singh Saluja, managing director of Premier Energies, emphasized the critical role of these modules in enhancing efficiency and output for Apraava Energy's initiatives in the region.

?We believe that the module supply for this project will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and output of Apraava Energy's initiatives in Rajasthan, contributing to India's broader clean energy vision,? said Chiranjeev Singh Saluja.

Premier Energies boasts an impressive annual installed capacity of 2 gigawatts for solar cells and 3.36 gigawatts for solar modules as of March 31, 2024, further solidifying its position in the renewable energy sector.

Naveen Munjal, director of business development and commercial at Apraava Energy, expressed satisfaction with the partnership, highlighting its significance in reinforcing India's renewable energy ecosystem. ?We are happy to partner with Premier Energies for procuring high-efficiency solar modules for our latest greenfield solar project in Rajasthan,?
