NTPC Mining has achieved a significant 20% increase in coal production, reaching over 19 million metric tonnes (MMT) in the first half of FY 2024-25. The company also recorded a 16% rise in coal dispatch to NTPC’s power stations, totaling 19.7 MMT during the same timeframe.

This performance highlights NTPC's commitment to boosting coal production to meet rising energy demands. An official stated, ""This impressive growth in coal production and dispatch reflects NTPC’s dedication to operational excellence and its strategic efforts to enhance the efficiency of its captive mines.""

NTPC continues to prioritize reliable, affordable, and sustainable power, supporting the nation’s energy needs through improved productivity and advanced mining technologies.
