After inaugurating two new transformers in Sriniwaspuri and Kalkaji, Power Minister Atishi reaffirmed the Delhi government's ongoing commitment to enhancing the city's power infrastructure. The government stated that the two 630 KVA transformers had been installed to ensure an uninterrupted electricity supply for the residents of these areas.

The installation of the new transformers was reported to be a response to the rising demand for electricity, which had placed significant strain on the old transformers and resulted in frequent power cuts. Following the inauguration, Atishi highlighted that electricity is a fundamental necessity for the people. She noted that since taking office in 2015, her government has been dedicated to improving Delhi's power infrastructure.

Atishi emphasised that Delhi now stands out for providing 24x7 electricity without power cuts, offering the most affordable electricity rates in the country, and even supplying free electricity to certain residents. She added that the new transformers in the private colony of Sriniwaspuri are part of the government?s efforts to bolster the power infrastructure and ensure continuous service despite growing demand.

She expressed satisfaction that thousands of homes in Sriniwaspuri Private Colony and Gandhi Colony are now receiving reliable power. Atishi also reiterated the Kejriwal government?s commitment to delivering high-quality basic services to Delhi's residents. She assured that, regardless of any obstacles, the work for the people of Delhi would continue as long as Arvind Kejriwal remains the chief minister.
