The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) has initiated the bidding process for the enhancement of roads in Nagaland's Peren district, supported by the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) for the fiscal year 2023-24.
This project aims to upgrade the road stretching from Mhainnamtsi to Heningkunglwa via Dungki and Lamhai within the district, with a maintenance period extending over five years.
Scheduled to be completed within 24 months, the project carries an estimated cost of Rs 23.91 crore.
Prospective bidders are required to submit their proposals by July 4, 2024, marking a significant step toward improving transportation infrastructure in the region.
