K2 Infragen wins Rs 334.1 million deal for North Western Railway

North Western Railway (NWR) has awarded a Rs 334.1 million contract to K2 Infragen, a leading infrastructure development company, for the design, procurement, erection, testing, and commissioning of high-rise Overhead Equipment (OHE) for the Rewari-Kathuwas doubling project.

K2 Infragen will execute this contract, initially secured by M/S Leena-Arnoo, and will carry out crucial infrastructure enhancements as part of the Jaipur Division of NWR's Rewari-Kathuwas doubling plan. Following this order win, the company's order book now stands at Rs 4.77 billion.

The project is scheduled to be completed by October 30, 2025, with a 15-month timeline. This project is vital for the advancement of the Jaipur division's rail infrastructure and aligns with NWR's broader goals of enhancing network connectivity and upgrading existing facilities. (Source: ET)
