JDA to allot RIC land for building Rajeevika Mart

Land and Property Disposal Committee of Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has decided to hand over a plot of land adjacent to Rajasthan International Centre (RIC) to Rajasthan Rural Livelihood Development Corporation (RRLDC) for the construction of a Rajeevika Mart.

JDA sources said the plot of land measuring around 1,500 sq m had earlier been earmarked to develop facilities related to RIC. ?We have not handed over the plot yet. We have sent a proposal to govt to allow us to hand it over to RRLDC at a concessional rate under Jhalana Institutional Area Development Plan," said a JDA official.

It was also decided at a recent meeting that 20,000 sq m of land at Dahmi Kalan village in Sanganer sub-division would be allocated free of cost for construction of a district hospital. "It has also been decided that three plots of land would be handed over to the two Jaipur Municipal Corporations for the construction of a waste treatment plant and two waste transfer stations," said another JDA official.

While a plot measuring 6.1700 hectares at Mathuradaspura in Jamwaramgarh has been earmarked for Jaipur Municipal Corporation - Heritage (JMC-H) for a solid waste management plant, a plot measuring 1,355 square metres has also been earmarked at Lal Doongri off Delhi Bypass for JMC-H to operate a waste transfer station, said officials.
