Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) is preparing to carry out repair and refurbishment works at several key metro stations along Corridor-1. The planned works are said to include comprehensive repairs to footpaths, planter boxes, and drainage systems.
At LB Nagar Metro Station, the project reportedly involves the removal and re-fixing of existing railings, along with repairs to the footpath and planter boxes. Similar refurbishment works are planned for Nampally and New Market Metro Stations, where footpaths and planter boxes are also set to be repaired.
According to the tender document, repairs to footpaths will take place at Miyapur Metro Station, while additional works are expected to focus on improving pedestrian walkways and planter boxes at areas surrounding JNTU, KPHB, and Kukatpally Metro Stations.
The refurbishment project also includes replacing 80mm pavers on service roads and footpaths at Balangar, Moosapet, and Parade Grounds Metro Stations.
