The 18 billion Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal (CSMT) renovation project in Mumbai would be granted in the middle of March, according to Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Friday.
It will be awarded at the middle of March. On giving a presentation on the trains, Vaishnaw stated that every authority in Mumbai had approved the project.
In the normally crowded city, he claimed that a significant amount of space would be created. He also guaranteed that people would move around with ease.
With 16–17 lakh passengers passing through each day, CSMT is one of the busiest railroad stations in the nation.
Others reportedly competing for the project include L&T, Tata Projects Ltd., NCC Ltd., J.K. Infra Projects Ltd., ITD Cementation, Ahluwalia Contractors, Dineshchandra R. Agrawal Infracon Pvt. Ltd., Creative Group LLP, and Assystem STUP.
