Bajaj Electricals Reports 59% Decline in Q2 Profit;

Bajaj Electricals posted a significant 59.28% drop in net consolidated profit for Q2 FY25, reporting a profit after tax of Rs.12.90 crore (approximately $1.55 million), down from Rs.31.68 crore ($3.8 million) in the same period last year. The company’s net consolidated total income saw a slight growth of 0.88%, reaching Rs.1,133.52 crore ($136 million) compared to Rs.1,123.63 crore ($135 million) in Q2 FY24.

To improve operational efficiency, the board has approved a Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) for permanent employees in the 'workmen' category at the Nashik facility, with a projected cost of Rs.15.30 crore ($1.8 million).
