Kirloskar Ebara Pumps Ltd (KEPL) launches India´s first indigenously-developed next generation API steam turbine ´K-Tur´. The steam turbines have been developed in compliance with the American Petroleum Institute (API 611) specifications. A single-stage turbine, it consist of various features including steam shields, blade-tip seals and reusable bearing liners. The turbine is available in two frames - KT-B for power requirements up to 1 MW and KT-D for power requirements up to 3 MW.
