Schneider Electric India has launched Under Floor Air Distribution System (UFAD), which uses the space between the structural concrete slab and the underside of a raised access floor to deliver conditioned air directly into the occupied zone of the building.

The principle can be developed in different configurations according to customer and project requirements. The advantages include zero per cent wastage of space, it saves more than 20 per cent energy, has 40 per cent faster construction time and is 100 per cent flexible.
