UP CM Yogi reviews the drinking water scheme in Jhansi

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed the progress of a drinking water scheme at a village in Jhansi and directed the officials to complete the work on time.
CM Yogi reviewed the Amrit Drinking Water Scheme at Gulara village in Chirgaon block. As a part of the scheme, tapped water will reach two lakh rural households, benefitting 11.5 lakh people in the village area.
CM Adityanath directed the officials to expedite the project. In Bundelkhand, the drinking water project is been implemented at Rs 10,000 crore.
The government, with the states, is implementing the Jal Jeevan Mission-Har Ghar Jal to supply tap water to every rural household in India by 2024.
CM also inspected a cow shelter and directed the officers to ensure that there is no stray cattle and that all be in cowsheds.
About the Ram Katha programme in Lalitpur, Adityanath said that the work is ongoing in the country to pave this way. The benefits of these government schemes are reaching everyone, and everybody is getting security.
He added that by December 2022, every village and every household in Bundelkhand would get pure RO water.
