India, Denmark to Boost Water Collaboration

India and Denmark have reinforced their collaboration in the water sector, focusing on innovative solutions to enhance resource management. Jal Shakti Minister C R Paatil, after meeting with Danish Minister Morten Bodskov, announced plans to establish a Centre of Excellence dedicated to advancing water technology.

The Centre aims to drive innovations in smart water resource management, improving efficiency.

Additionally, a Clean Rivers Laboratory in Varanasi is proposed, modeled after the Smart City Lab in Panaji, Goa. This lab will focus on river restoration and research, supporting environmental sustainability efforts in India.
