Uttarakhand CM Unveils 66-Feet National Flag

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami recently inaugurated a 66-feet-high national flag in Dehradun as part of the city’s Smart City project. The flag installation symbolizes national pride and aims to foster a deeper sense of patriotism among the residents. The flag, prominently displayed in Dehradun, is expected to become a local landmark, drawing visitors and celebrating India's heritage.

The initiative is one of many under the Smart City project, which focuses on enhancing Dehradun's infrastructure, beautification, and civic amenities. During the installation ceremony, Dhami emphasized the importance of such symbols in uniting citizens and promoting respect for national identity. He also noted the government's commitment to improving the city's aesthetic and functional appeal, aligning with the Smart City mission’s broader goals of urban development and citizen engagement.

Local residents and officials attended the ceremony, showing enthusiasm and support for the project. As a visual focal point, the flag not only boosts civic pride but also contributes to Dehradun’s image as a developing urban center. The installation highlights the city’s ongoing efforts to improve public spaces and foster community spirit, promoting Dehradun as a forward-thinking, unified city.
