Southern Railway cancels train diversions after accident

Southern Railway has revoked the diversion of several train services that were rerouted following the accident involving the Mysuru–Darbhanga Bagmati Express at Kavaraipettai, near Chennai, on October 11.

The affected trains will now run on their original routes as follows:

Santragachi–Dr MGR Chennai Central Superfast AC Express (No. 22807): This train, which departed Santragachi on October 11, will resume its regular route via Gudur and Sulurupetta. The previously announced diversion through Gudur, Renigunta, and Arakkonam has been cancelled.

H Nizamuddin–Dr MGR Chennai Central Rajdhani Express (No. 12434): Departing H Nizamuddin on October 11, the train will follow its original route. The earlier planned diversion through Gudur, Renigunta, and Arakkonam has also been withdrawn.
