The makeover of one railway station and new passenger facilities will be done by 2023.

The local artists and architects in the surrounding residential areas will be executing the art makeover. The railway stations will have several art and paintings which will showcase the uniqueness of the local culture.

The MRVC also plans on upgrading the stations while increasing the passenger amenities provided. Chairman and managing director, MRVC, Ravi Agarwal, said that the makeovers will be executed considering the area’s local theme and significant locations of the area.

The MRVC has further floated a tender to improve the railway stations including certain provisions. The tender includes the provision of Foot Over Bridges (FOBs). It has interconnecting decks and foot-over bridges. It also includes skywalks and the relocation of stalls. It further comprises the improvement of entry and exit to railway stations as well as creating green spaces.
