Girdhari Constructions bags contract for Nagpur station redevelopment

Girdhari Lal Constructions has been awarded a Rs 4.87 billion contract by the Ministry of Railways for the redevelopment of Nagpur Railway Station in Maharashtra.

The Railway Land Improvement Authority (RLDA) introduced a bid for modernisation. The pre-bid assembly was held on 20 June and attended by a number of EPC contractors and builders.

The estimated value of the mission is around Rs 5.36 billion. The mission will probably be developed in an EPC model.

The prime goal of upgradation is to offer best-in-class facilities to passengers and improve the journey expertise. The scope of labour for the chosen bidder shall broadly cowl the detailed design and development of civil works, and mechanical Electrical and plumbing (MEP) works for the station constructing.
