Electronics Tech for Hyperloop to be Developed at ICF Chennai

Indigenous Technology Development The entire Hyperloop testing system has been developed using indigenous technologies. The Minister lauded young innovators for their contributions, expressing confidence that India will soon be ready for Hyperloop transportation.
ICF Chennai to Drive Electronics Innovation The Railway Ministry has extended financial and technical support to the Hyperloop project. Electronics technology for the Hyperloop will now be developed at ICF Chennai, leveraging the highly skilled experts responsible for large electronics systems in Vande Bharat high-speed trains.
Recognition for Innovators The Minister congratulated the young innovators of IIT Madras and Avishkar Hyperloop, acknowledging their successful testing efforts.
Focus on India’s Technological Future Following the Hyperloop demonstration, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw visited the IIT Madras campus in Guindy, where he explored the Open House 2025 exhibition, organised by the IIT Centre for Innovation.
Key Takeaways from the Minister’s Interaction with Students & Innovators: India is emerging as a global leader in technology, particularly in data science, artificial intelligence, and semiconductors. The country has the largest pool of skilled youth, who will play a pivotal role in driving India’s development. Five semiconductor facilities are already operational, and India’s first indigenous semiconductor will be launched by year-end.
