EKI signs consultancy services contract with KMRL

EKI Energy Services (EKI) has recently announced the signing of a consultancy service contract with Kochi Metro Rail (KMRL), a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Kerala. EKI won the tender to provide carbon credit advisory services to KMRL, and under the contract, will provide assistance for the development, validation, registration, verification, issuance, and trading of carbon credit projects related to the Kochi Metro Rail Project.

As part of the contract, EKI will manage projects eligible for carbon credits from start to finish, ensuring verification compliance with guidelines set by international carbon credit mechanisms. With EKI's support, Kochi Metro Rail can monetise emission reductions, earning additional revenue that can be used to support multiple developmental initiatives. This consultancy service agreement is an exciting development for both EKI and KMRL, as it will help drive progress towards a more sustainable future.
