Chikkajala and Bettahalasur stations excluded from metro airport line

In a recent decision, the Karnataka government has removed Chikkajala and Bettahalasur stations from the planned metro line connecting the city to the airport. This change comes as part of a revised alignment for the project, aimed at optimizing routes and improving overall connectivity.

The state government explained that the new alignment will focus on enhancing accessibility to key areas while addressing logistical challenges. Stakeholders have been informed of the alterations, and the revised plan is expected to streamline construction processes and reduce costs.

The metro line remains a crucial infrastructure project intended to facilitate better transportation options for residents and travelers in the region.
