Bhubaneswar station grand facelift work to get over by 2025-end: ECoR GM

The redevelopment of Bhubaneswar Railway Station is progressing, with a target completion date set for the end of 2025. The project aims to transform the station into a state-of-the-art facility, including new entry and exit routes, lifts, and escalators on all platforms, and a modern air concourse.

The redevelopment has faced several delays over the years, but officials are confident the project will be operational by 2026. The station, a key hub in India’s rail network since 1896, will play a significant role in enhancing travel experiences for passengers while boosting connectivity for the region.
