Pehowa-Yamunanagar Road to Be Expanded to Four Lanes: Haryana CM

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that the road connecting Pehowa in the Kurukshetra district to Yamunanagar would be expanded to four lanes. He stated that this development would meet the public's demand and facilitate their travel to Haridwar while addressing a gathering organized by BJP workers in the district.

Additionally, Saini mentioned that bypasses would be constructed in Kurukshetra and Ladwa, which would alleviate traffic congestion for commuters. He emphasized his commitment to the Ladwa constituency, which he represents in the state assembly.

The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to the people for re-electing the BJP and recognized the efforts of party workers during the recent assembly elections. He also indicated that steps would soon be taken to expedite various road projects across the state. Furthermore, he instructed officials to ensure the prompt repair of roads within the Ladwa constituency.

Saini asserted that addressing the issues faced by citizens is the government's top priority, affirming that their doors would remain open 24 hours for public concerns. He also mentioned his intention to visit every ward, village, and locality in Ladwa to personally thank the people for their support in the BJP's victory.

In a separate event at Kurukshetra University, Saini highlighted the significance of the Ratnavali Mahotsav, the university's annual cultural festival, as an exceptional platform for connecting the younger generation with the music, art, and culture of Haryana. He noted that Haryana has historically been a center of eternal knowledge, with its cultural heritage tracing back to the Vedic period. According to Saini, the Ratnavali Mahotsav plays a vital role in preserving the culture and traditions rooted in this ancient era, having been hosted at the university for the past 37 years. He also remarked that Kurukshetra University is among the leading universities in the country.
