The event, held at Sungkhatchu River, saw attendance from local Civil Society Organisations, representatives of tribal Hohos, and departmental officials.

The first phase includes the construction of a 50-foot double-lane galvanised steel bridge over the Sungkhatchu River in Baghty Division, alongside 8.5 km of double-lane and 21 km of single-lane roads connecting Tuli and Naganimora.

The project is funded by the NPWD (Roads & Bridges), with work orders issued to M/S P. Mha-Tum & Co. and M/S 3S Infra, who have been allocated Rs 200 million and Rs 1,400 million, respectively, for their respective sections.

The NFHRCC has urged contractors who have already signed the Implementation Agreement to commence work promptly. The committee is determined to ensure timely completion of the project.
