Mumbai to Get New Flyover to Ease Traffic at Andheri Junction

The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) has announced the construction of a new flyover at the busy Andheri Junction to alleviate traffic congestion. The flyover, estimated to cost Rs 200 crore, is expected to improve traffic flow and reduce bottlenecks in this key part of the city.

The new flyover will be a significant addition to Mumbai’s transportation infrastructure. It is expected to ease the movement of both private vehicles and public transport, particularly during peak hours. The project will also involve the development of pedestrian facilities to ensure safety for all road users.

Officials mentioned that the construction of the flyover will be carried out in phases to minimize disruption to traffic, with the aim of completing the project within 18 months.
