Andhra Govt Approves Rs 27.23 Billion Roadworks Project in Amaravati

The Andhra Pradesh government announced that it has approved road infrastructure works worth Rs 27.23 billion for the greenfield capital, Amaravati. Municipal Minister P Narayana stated that these funds would be used to build layout roads in Amaravati zones 7 and 10.

Narayana mentioned that a total of Rs 472.88 billion had been approved for works related to the development of Amaravati during the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) meetings.

The Minister added that approval for some of the remaining works would be granted within the month.

He further emphasised that the state government would not pass on the cost of building the greenfield capital city to the people of the state.
