Amaravati Capital City Sees Major Infrastructure Boost
The meeting sanctioned the expansion of four crucial roads?E-5, E-11, E-13, and E-15?under the Amaravati trunk infrastructure project, linking them to National Highway 16.
Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Ponguru Narayana, highlighted that these resolutions represent a significant leap in infrastructure growth for Amaravati, enhancing the region's economic prospects.
The E-11 and E-13 projects are slated to commence soon, while E-5 and E-15 will require land pooling, extending the timeline for their completion.
Following the Chief Minister's endorsement, Lakshmi Parthasarathy, Chairperson and Managing Director of Amaravati Development Corporation Limited (ADCL), issued an E-procurement Tender notice for consultancy services. This will facilitate the preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for extending the Amaravati trunk infrastructure up to the inner ring road and connecting the four roads to NH 16.
With the prioritization of the E-11 and E-13 projects, ADCL aims to expedite construction following the CM's approval and the selection of consultants for DPR preparation, furthering Amaravati's vision as a modern capital city.
