Adityanath launches 75 EVs in Ayodhya before Ram Temple ceremony

Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, flagged off 75 electric vehicles in Ayodhya, a week before the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of the Ram temple. The official website of Ayodhya Police and a Digital Tourist App were also launched during the event, as per a statement from the UP government.

The e-vehicles, which comprised 50 buses and 25 auto-rickshaws, were inaugurated by the chief minister. Addressing the people on the occasion, Adityanath stated that the Ayodhya Municipal Corporation and Ayodhya city had introduced e-services to enhance public transport facilities for the devotees arriving ahead of the 'Pran Pratishtha' program in Ayodhya Dham, scheduled for January 22.

According to the chief minister, January 22 is a significant date to honour India's faith and belief, marking the consecration of India's self-respect and honour. He mentioned that with the installation of Lord Shri Ram in his grand temple after 500 years, the establishment of Ram Rajya, initiated in 2014, would lead to a successful future not only in Ayodhya Dham but also across the state and the entire country. Adityanath expressed confidence in receiving Lord Ram's blessings.

In extending Makar Sankranti wishes to the people of the state, Adityanath emphasised the eagerness of the country and the world to witness Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya. He highlighted the responsibility to enhance Ayodhya's cleanliness and beauty, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision to give Ayodhya a global identity. Adityanath stressed the importance of a clean and beautiful Ayodhya, mentioning ongoing initiatives such as infrastructure development, road widening, railway lines, and airports. Electric buses, he said, would contribute to brightening Ayodhya.

The chief minister emphasised that visitors to the holy city should leave with a positive impression. He outlined plans to organise Akhand Ramayan recitation and Ram Sankirtan in Har Dev Temple from January 16 to January 22, aligning with the thinking of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give Ayodhya a global identity.
