HG Infra Engineering receives project from Adani

Adani Road Transport awarded HG Infra Engineering for the execution of civil and associated works on an EPC basis for the development of the Ganga Expressway, an access-controlled six-lane greenfield road.

The project with a length of 151.7 km costs Rs 4970.99 crore. The completion period is 820 days from the date of appointment, which will be declared by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority.

The Ganga Expressway is billed as India’s longest and will link Meerut in the northwest of UP to Prayagraj in the east. As per a report, Adani is in conversations with SBI to finance Rs 12,000 crore for the project.

Adani won the project in 2021 to set up three stretches of the 594 km long Ganga Expressway.
