Honeywell to Illuminate Noida Airport

Honeywell Automation India has been awarded a project to implement airfield ground lighting (AGL) systems at the Noida International Airport, which is currently under development. This lighting project aims to enhance the safety, efficiency, and visibility of airport operations, particularly during low-visibility conditions. Airfield ground lighting is a critical component of airport infrastructure, ensuring that pilots can safely navigate the airfield during takeoffs, landings, and taxiing.

The Noida International Airport, set to be one of India’s largest airports, will benefit from Honeywell’s advanced lighting solutions. The project involves the installation of high-quality, energy-efficient lighting systems that meet global aviation standards. The lighting solutions will not only ensure operational safety but also contribute to sustainable airport infrastructure by using environmentally friendly technologies.

This contract highlights Honeywell’s expertise in aviation technology and infrastructure projects. Honeywell has a long-standing presence in India’s aviation sector, offering solutions that enhance operational safety and efficiency at airports across the country. Their role in the Noida International Airport project reinforces their position as a key player in the development of modern aviation infrastructure in India.

The lighting system installation will be a crucial step toward making Noida International Airport operational, as airfield lighting is mandatory for safe aircraft movement, especially during night operations or inclement weather. With Honeywell’s track record in delivering such critical infrastructure, the project is expected to meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Once completed, the Noida International Airport will not only improve regional connectivity but also play a significant role in bolstering India’s aviation infrastructure, contributing to economic growth and positioning the country as a global aviation hub.
