CM Yogi demands timely completion for Jewar Airport

The Chief Minister reviewed the airport project's progress with district officials, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), and the construction company, as stated in a press release.

He emphasized the importance of adhering to high-quality standards and instructed that any construction issues be promptly reported to the state government for resolution.

The CM also addressed challenges related to land acquisition, urging senior district officials and public representatives to engage with villagers facing difficulties and resolve their concerns amicably.

Yogi advised officials to prevent outsiders from misleading villagers about the land acquisition process and to leverage the expertise of the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) in securing the necessary land.

The Chief Minister stressed the need for strong connectivity to Noida International Airport, ensuring all routes to Jewar are well-connected. He called for an action plan to complete rail, metro, and other transport facilities to support the airport.

Yogi also highlighted the importance of having transportation links operational by the airport's completion and emphasized the need for multi-level parking to ensure smooth passenger experiences.
