AAI oversees the operation of 137 airports in India, comprising 24 international airports, 10 customs airports, and 80 domestic airports, along with 23 domestic civil enclaves at defense airfields. Additionally, it provides Air Traffic Management Services (ATMS) across Indian airspace and adjacent oceanic zones, ensuring the safe management of aircraft operations through ground installations at airports and 25 additional locations.
This observance reinforces AAI's commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards and fostering a culture of vigilance among its workforce, benefiting the nation’s aviation ecosystem.
