Ramco Cements deploys mega dewatering pumps in flood-affected areas of Chennai

Ramco Cements has always been at the forefront of providing relief to the public in times of calamities, the latest being the floods in Chennai, for which relief measures have been undertaken along with the Chennai Corporation. Normal life came to a grinding halt in Chennai because of cyclone Michaung and many parts of the city are still inundated. The company has deployed mega dewatering pumps to provide relief to the water-logged areas of the city. At Shollinganallur (Nookampalayam Road), two pumps have been deployed and two more pumps have been deployed in the Porur area.
