Union Minister Shri Manohar Lal Inaugurates GRIDCON 2025

Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Shri Manohar Lal, inaugurated GRIDCON 2025 – The International Conference cum Exhibition at IICC, Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, in the distinguished presence of Union Minister of State for Power & New & Renewable Energy, Shri Shripad Yesso Naik.

Organised by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) under the patronage of the Ministry of Power, in association with CIGRE India, the three-day event (9th–11th March 2025) is a landmark gathering of power sector professionals, industry leaders, policymakers, and academics from across the globe.

A Platform for Advancing Grid Resilience and Renewable Integration The inaugural ceremony saw an impressive assembly of experts and dignitaries, including Shri R.K. Tyagi, CMD, POWERGRID, along with directors and senior officials from the Ministry of Power, POWERGRID, and other power sector PSUs.

Speaking at the event, Shri Manohar Lal highlighted India’s commitment to grid modernisation, renewable energy integration, and digital transformation in the power sector. He emphasised the importance of resilient and adaptive power infrastructure to meet the evolving demands of energy transition and sustainability.
