Telangana Allocates Funds for Key Infrastructure Projects

The Telangana government has allocated substantial funds for various infrastructure projects, including:

HMWSSB: Rs 33.85 billion ($407 million), including Rs 6.35 billion ($76 million) for loans, Rs 14.5 billion ($174 million) for developmental works, Rs 10 billion ($120 million) for the Sunkishala Intake Project under KDWSP, and Rs 3 billion ($36 million) for the 20 KL free water supply scheme.

Musi Riverfront Development Project: Rs 15 billion ($180 million). HMRL: Rs 11 billion ($132 million), divided between Rs 5 billion ($60 million) for Hyderabad Metro, Rs 5 billion ($60 million) for Metro connectivity to Old City, and Rs 1 billion ($12 million) for Airport Metro. HMDA: Rs 7 billion ($84 million), including Rs 2 billion ($24 million) for the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and Rs 5 billion ($60 million) for development projects. Other Allocations: Rs 1 billion ($12 million) for HYDRAA, Rs 630 million ($7.6 million) for QQSUDA, and Rs 500 million ($6 million) for MMTS.

The funding aims to enhance connectivity, water supply, and urban development across the state.
