Tata Power and Tata Motors to launch 200 fast EV charging stations

Tata Power EV Charging Solutions Limited, a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, has partnered with Tata Motors Limited to establish 200 fast-charging stations for electric commercial vehicles (CVs) across major metropolitan cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. This initiative is aimed at making charging solutions more accessible for small electric CVs and advancing sustainable mobility in India.

As part of the collaboration, Tata Motors' electric CV owners will benefit from exclusive charging tariffs, reducing operational costs and boosting profitability. With this expansion, electric CV users across the country will have access to nearly 1,000 strategically located fast chargers.

Under its EZ Charge brand, Tata Power has developed an extensive network of over 100,000 home chargers, 5,500 public and semi-public chargers, and 1,100+ bus charging stations across 530 cities and towns. These chargers are strategically placed at highways, hotels, malls, hospitals, and residential complexes, significantly contributing to the growth of electric mobility in the country.

Tata Motors supports its electric CVs with over 150 Electric Vehicle Service Centres nationwide.
