Kerala IT Park to Provide 138 Acre of Land for Developers and Firms

Kerala’s Technopark is offering over 138 acre of vacant land across its Phase I, III, and IV campuses to companies and co-developers interested in launching and expanding major projects. This initiative is seen as a significant opportunity for businesses, particularly as Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and companies focused on advanced technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and machine learning continue to grow globally.

The availability of these land parcels is a key development for Technopark, which already hosts large projects from IT firms and major builders. The park’s infrastructure and sustainable initiatives are designed to meet global standards, providing a conducive environment for innovation and growth. Technopark’s Phase IV campus is expected to host several significant projects, including the Digital Science Park, MSME Technology Centre, and the QUAD project. The QUAD project will feature a mix of office spaces, residential units, and commercial buildings, with developments planned across 5.5 acres for IT office buildings, 4.5 acre for an IT/ITeS complex, and 5.6 acres for a commercial complex, along with 1,100 residential units.

Technopark’s strategic location, advanced infrastructure, and collaborative environment offer ideal conditions for companies looking to scale up. It is also an attractive site for real estate developers seeking to build IT office spaces. With a strong focus on transforming Kerala into a knowledge economy, the state government is committed to supporting innovative ventures.

In the fiscal year 2023-24, Technopark achieved a software export growth of 14 per cent, reaching Rs 132.55 billion. The park is home to around 490 companies and provides employment to approximately 75,000 individuals.
