During the second day of the Pragati Yatra, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated and laid the foundation for 104 development projects worth Rs 201 crore in the Kesaria block of East Champaran.

The local community welcomed the CM's initiatives, particularly the success of the Jeevika program, which empowers rural women through self-help groups. The initiative has gained national recognition, with the central government and other states adopting it.

CM Kumar also inaugurated a rail overbridge at the Kachhari railway gate in Motihari, costing Rs 29.95 crore, which is expected to ease traffic congestion.

Minister Renu Devi launched a sharp critique of the opposition, comparing them to a nocturnal animal unable to perceive Bihar's progress. She highlighted that 173 roads are being constructed in her constituency, with improvements seen across Bihar.

BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal also commended the ongoing development in Bettiah, supported by the efforts of CM Kumar and Minister Devi.
