1) Essar Foundation was recognised with the Best Corporate Foundation Award at the 14th World CSR Day & World CSR Congress, bringing together global leaders committed to corporate social responsibility. Additionally, Dominic Dsouza, COO – CSR, Essar Foundation, received the Most Impactful CSR Leader Award, acknowledging his leadership. The Foundation’s initiatives in tribal and remote areas, addressing hunger, healthcare, and education, are transforming lives and uplifting vulnerable communities.

 

2) The Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) has been honoured with the ‘National Public Bus Transport Excellence Award’ in the ‘New Initiatives – Digital Practices’ category at the ASRTU Awards 2023-24. The award was presented at Jacaranda Hall, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, with Sahadev Samadhia, General Manager (P&A), CRUT, receiving it on behalf of the organisation. CRUT’s digital innovations, including UPI-based digital ticketing, mobile passes via Mo Bus app and ONDC platform, and an Automatic Fare Collection System with real-time tracking, have enhanced commuter convenience and efficiency, setting new benchmarks in urban transport.
