MeitY Boosts Semiconductor Ecosystem with CeNSE-Lam Research MoU

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has declared the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and Lam Research India during the ongoing SemiconIndia event in Gandhinagar.

SEMI has also expressed its commitment to support the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) in fostering a dynamic semiconductor manufacturing and design ecosystem in India. This collaboration will build upon the success of ISM's previous SemiconIndia editions and continue SEMI's tradition of bringing stakeholders from across the semiconductor ecosystem together. An MoU for this collaboration is currently in development.

The announcement was made in the presence of Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Electronics & IT, along with Shri Alkesh Kumar Sharma, MeitY Secretary, Shri Ajit Manocha, President of SEMI, and other senior officials from the government and industries.
