JSW UAV to Establish Advanced Drone Manufacturing Facility in Telangana

The Telangana government has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with JSW UAV, a subsidiary of JSW Defence, to set up an advanced unmanned aerial systems (UAS) manufacturing facility in the state. This initiative, in partnership with a prominent US-based defence technology company, involves an investment of approximately Rs 8 billion. The project is expected to create over 200 jobs, further enhancing Telangana's status as a hub for advanced technology and defence innovation.

The MoU highlights Telangana's dedication to promoting innovation, creating employment opportunities, and attracting global investments. It marks a significant milestone in the state’s efforts to become a leading destination for investments in various sectors, including semiconductors, defence, private space, and FMCG.
