Fornnax buys land for new Gujarat facility

Fornnax Technology announced that they had acquired a 23-acre land parcel in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The company's officials, speaking at the India Rubber Expo (IRE) held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai from 20-22 March, 2024, informed that the land is designated for an upcoming facility. They envisioned it to become one of the largest sites for manufacturing shredding and tyre recycling machinery.

According to the company's representatives, the new site is expected to become operational by March 2025. Its focus will be on producing high-capacity machinery applicable in tyre, municipal waste, and metal processing. They mentioned that this initiative involves an investment of Rs 1 billion in both land and equipment. It aligns with the company's strategy to expand its presence in both domestic and international markets.

Furthermore, it was revealed during the expo that the company introduced a high-capacity version of SR-200 HD. Fornnax Technology is continuously broadening its range of high-capacity production lines and introduced an improved version of their primary shredder. This upgraded model, primarily designed for tyre shredding, has a single-pass capacity of up to 25 tonnes per hour. It can also handle high volumes of municipal solid waste, wood pallets, as well as industrial and commercial waste.

The company assured that the standard variant of the machinery would remain available alongside the newly introduced high-capacity version. This move is part of their strategy to expand their portfolio and cater to a broader range of customer needs.
