Sumadhura Group plans Rs 1,500 cr investment in Hyd realty market

Real estate developer Sumadhura Group is planning to invest Rs 1,500 crore in the residential realty market over the next four years in Hyderabad.

This includes its investment share in the 44 storey tall Olympus in the Nanakramguda area that Sumadhura Group and Vasavi Group are setting up at Rs 1,000 crore. Sumadhura Group has collaborated with Vasavi Group to set up a 44 storey residential project, which is the city's tallest residential tower.

Sumadhura group MD Madhusudan G told the media that apart from the Olympus project that will come up near the Waverock building, Sumadhura Group is also proposing a residential project near Shamshabad airport on a 10-acre site that will start next quarter.

He said that Sumadhura Group is also proposing a residential project at Kokapet for which it has acquired 4 acres of land, adding that though the land has been acquired registration formalities are still to be done.

Sumadhura Group is one of South India's leading real estate companies. It is currently taking up three residential projects in Hyderabad.

The Sumadhura is keen to explore opportunities in office and commercial space development as well as mixed-use development projects in the short term, with the growth potential Hyderabad realty market is displaying.
